Despite several technical setbacks & myself being out of town for work most of last month, the forces conspiring to slow this project down will be overwhelmed soon, I’m confident. I hope to have North Hollywood Skyline being pressed by the end of the month. Thanks for your patience and enquiries. I do hope it’s worth the wait ;)

The opening cinema vignette cracks me up. The rest is so Brit, so “Albion”.
Can’t recommend the Supergrass video, though. The singer grew a beard & mustache and now looks like Jack Black. Besides, the video didn’t really lend itself to the subtle hauntings of an old Eastern European city, which the song coughs up in droves.
And for anyone who missed it, 2 years ago I was recommending the song/video for “For Lovers” by Wolfman & Pete Doherty (of Babyshambles). Has Pete been strung-out for the last 2 years or so? No doubt. But he’s been a hopeless romantic for longer than that, as this tune reveals.

I KNEW IT WAS GONNA BE A GOOD DAY WHEN…
I saw & met 3 different pugs on the way to the Post Office this morning. That’s 3 pugs in less than 7/10ths of a mile! 2 were black (my favorite, hence my studio’s name BlackPug Studios). First was a young little runt by Bob Hope’s old house, named “Way-Lay” (sp?). The other 2 were older, senior pugs, one black, one fawn, tied up outside the Post Office waiting for their master to come outside.
