Garageband, Amoeba Records, etc.

Hello All,

Just a quick note to brag that "Good To Know" from Lone Star will be "Track of the Day" (thanks to many enthusiastic reviews) at Garageband.com on Saturday, Dec 20.  So, I guess this means fame and (more importantly) fortune are just around the corner...just in time for Christmas.

While you're there, check out 2 cool Gband.com artists, Arthur Yoria and Roman Candle.

More Reviews

Great reviews keep trickling in.  Some I can read, others I can't.

"One of the strongest roots-pop releases we've heard not only in 2003 but in the last few years."
-Not Lame Records (who now carry Lone Star)

"Ondanks deze tegengestelde informatie is "Lone Star" wel een lekker stukje melodieuze popmuziek,
waarbij af en toe wat americana-invloeden zijn verweven."
-Ron's Alt.Country (The Netherlands)

Lone Star also got some ink in the esteemed, near legendary UK magazine, Comes With A Smile:

"...if you can’t stand ‘60s pop you’ll probably not go a bundle on this,
but you’d probably not go for Elliott Smith either. You’re missing out on
some big pop treats in both cases." Jeff Cotton, Comes With A Smile
